Every week, hundreds of Tennessee Valley neighbors attempt to declutter their lives – and in the process create huge piles of treasures (gently used and sometimes never used), but they often don’t realize the positive effect of donating them to charity. With your donation to The Salvation Army, you are helping to restore hope for those in need, reunite families, and break the chains of addiction in our cities.
Since 1990, Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Chattanooga (RMHC® of Greater Chattanooga) has been helping families stay together and close to the care they need through the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room. We provide a place like home and make children happier and healthier by making sure their families are footsteps from their hospital room– giving them a place to rest and refresh.
Children deserve a hospital where caregivers know hugs play an important role in healing, where laughter is prescribed in large doses, and where the whole family can find comfort in times of worry and stress.
The Cheer Cart is a cart for kids to pamper themselves or have some fun while in their hospital rooms. The Toy Donation Program helps improve a child’s hospital stay by providing donated toys, games, and more.
This year, we are donating all received clothing articles to the Chattanooga Salvation Army.
This year, we are donating all received canned goods, non-perishable food items, and any new personal care/household items to the Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House.
This year, we are donating all received toys to both programs at Erlanger Children's Hospital:
